The Entrepreneur Scholarship at ThaBrowDoctor Salon Suites exists to open doors for beauty professionals with talent, heart, and vision — but maybe without the full financial space to take the first step. Once a year, we select one recipient to receive a private sponsored salon suite, for one year giving them the opportunity to build clientele, confidence, and a sustainable business.

Why This Scholarship Exists

Every successful business starts somewhere — often with courage, hard work, and someone willing to believe in the dream. We created this scholarship after witnessing too many gifted artists held back by environments that didn’t support their growth.

This program is our way of saying: you deserve a real chance. A chance to work in a professional, stress-free space. A chance to focus fully on your craft. A chance to build your dream and make it reality.

Our Entrepreneur Scholarship is built on trust, respect, and shared values. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, the following guidelines apply:

The scholarship provides one private salon suite, sponsored for one year and is non-transferable.
The recipient operates as an independent business owner and is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, taxes, supplies, and clients.
The suite is intended for one approved artist only and may not be shared or subleased.
A professional, respectful, and drama-free environment is expected at all times.
Suites and shared spaces should be kept clean and cared for so the environment remains welcoming for everyone.
The scholarship is designed for artists looking to actively build their business and are committed to growth.
At the conclusion of the year, the recipient may choose to transition into another suite or continue their journey elsewhere.

The Entrepreneur Scholarship

A supported start — with a real-world foundation.

Our Entrepreneur Scholarship is designed to do more than offer free space. It’s built to prepare you for the realities of business ownership in a way that is thoughtful, gradual, and empowering.

The selected recipient begins with two months completely rent-free in a private salon suite. This initial period is meant to give you breathing room — time to settle in, attract clients, and focus on your craft without financial pressure.

After the first three months, a graduated weekly rent is introduced, beginning at $10 per week. Over time, this amount increases very gradually, allowing you to adjust, plan, and grow alongside it. By the end of the scholarship term, the recipient will be paying full booth rent, fully prepared to sustain their business independently.

This structure exists for a reason.

We believe growth happens when support and responsibility work together. Applying a small amount of pressure over a long period creates momentum, discipline, and confidence — and prepares you for ownership while your passion fuels the dream, consistency and accountability sustain it.

By the end of the program, our goal is for you to leave not only with a built clientele, but with the mindset, habits, and confidence of a true business owner — ready for whatever comes next.
